Allergic to E Challenge

Hey people!

So I was nominated by Kri (my lovely <3) and Riverdust (A sweetheart <3) to the ‘Allergic to E challenge’ , I have missed both 24 hours deadlines given by the amazing ladies and I apologize for that, not only have I missed them by a day or two, perhaps been over a week now. My apologies again, my work schedule and the summer heat are literally killing ( We hit a record highest temperature of 45 degrees yesterday). Doesn’t leaves any energy to do anything, anyhow before any more delays I still want to do this challenge, I hope it’s okay 🙂

Here are the rules of the challenge:

  1. Write a whole paragraph (a paragraph sounds easy right?) without any word containing the letter “e” (still easy for ya?)
  2. By reading this you are already signed up.
  3. Challenge at least five bloggers to do the challenge. They must do it within 24 hours or it is considered as failure.
  4. If you fail or pass, suffer in the Page of Lame.
  5. If you win, wallow in the Page of Fame.

Drifting Away

My mind has a will of its own; it drifts to random locations on random days without informing first. So I sat down with a blank canvas today to draw out my mind as I thought it was but as I sat on my wobbly chair, I couldn’t think of any solitary visual to draw on my canvas apart from pitch black void dancing across it. Hands shook and world swam in a blur of chaos and I lost my mind in this oncoming storm.

Here are my nominations:

1. Dan (Yeah, I love you xD)
2. Naima
3. Ayushi
4. Yoshiko
5. Sulagno

Note: I know the above stated paragraph makes no sense but I shall blame it on the heat and goodluck to the nominations ^_^

  1. A wonderful post in the depth of your struggle with heat and work. Thank you for including me in the challenge. I need to get busy; I have a lot to catch up on. 🙂 Much love to you too B! Here is a happy thought to bring you good fortune in the coming days! —> 🙂

    1. Thanks Dan, you’re too kind as always ❤
We both have lots of catching up to do lol.
We have had over 800 plus deaths in less than a week 😦 , the temperatures finally dropped to bearable today and hopefully will ease up for a few days. We fall in the category of people of the city who can afford air conditioning but it's still depressing. However, work and heat both seem to be within manageable limits by Friday 🙂

      1. Do take care in this oppressive heat. So sad that so many people are lost. It reminds one of how precious and delicate life is. Our city has declared an emergency and opened air-conditioned shelters. Our electricity is strained and outages happen often after most of the infrastructure was destroyed a few years ago by tornados. If it gets bad, I will soak in a wash tub on the porch and wait for the sun to go down 🙂 *BCH*

      2. Heat wave there too? oh please take care you. We have emergency relief camps set up here as well now, however no air conditioning there. Too much funding is required, we don’t have that. Electricity is outages are common in our country and they vary from cities to their areas.
Drink lots of water at all times please.
        *BCH back* ❤

      3. Thank goodness there is no global warming, right? Every hour I will drink water and say a prayer for the people who suffer in this heat.
